Adjustments are made to follow all state regulations before discharge.
The pH is adjusted to be around 7.2 at all times. The water is also disinfected
with chlorine to kill all possible bacteria. Again, the amount of chlorine
must follow state
regulations. The minerals, such as Magnesium and Calcium, are removed in
the softening process. This, obviously, is to soften the water. This would
be the end of the whole water treatment process. From here the water is
distributed through water pumps.
