Coagulation

Coagulation is a very necessary part of the process. IN the Coagulation tank,
Chemicals are added to form a floc (thick mass).
    These chemicals are mostly:

                             Alum
                             Ferrous
                             Ferric Salt

These chemicals react to the materials in the water to make the unwanted
materials settle to the bottom. Here, bacteria is entrapped and the color of the
water is also absorbed. Next, the water makes its trip to the flocculation tank.
